Japan And The Earthquake...

Ours might be a country populated with humans, but ours is no civilization. I shudder every time I think what would have happened had it been India and not Japan. These japs, I used to call them crazy, but I now say that with utmost respect.

A foreigner's perspective about Japan. Better be safe than sorry, Japan shows us how and why.

Can write so much about that place that words won't be enough. And let's not talk of people - they moved me to tears with their niceness.

I wish I was there now - or that I could get there to do something for that nation and it's people with my own hands.

One more thing to add - the nuclear scare isn't as scary as the media makes it sound. If you want links that support this, ask me :-)

A few links for you girl - not sure if you're living under a rock and really worried about the nuclear disaster[supposed disaster i'd say] but there are other things to worry about.

The nation known where people didn't resort to looting, well, guess what - now some are down to that road too. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/japan/8392549/Japan-crisis-Theres-no-food-tell-people-there-is-no-food.html

And the radiation - here is the real perspective and this time, a seriously nice graphic from XKCD. http://xkcd.com/radiation/

I cry and I yearn to go back to the place I lived in and loved most. Give me a choice and I'd want to settle down there with those people - better there than anywhere else I say. If you ever feel like hearing more, drop me a line. I have stories to tell from that land, pictures to show but well, not many are interested to listen coz everyone asks - Why Japan and not anyplace else.

You've seen this right? http://english.kyodonews.jp/photos/2011/03/77436.html

Write in what your first thoughts were seeing this pic. This is one image that speaks a lot about the people there - something whihc blogs cannot express I feel.
